Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Nosmai collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Nosmai is built on-device first, so most user content is never sent to us at all.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us when you create an account: your name, email and company, and the configuration of the apps and API keys you create. We also collect operational metadata about API usage, such as request counts, timing and error rates, to run and bill the service.

• Account data: name, email, company, password (hashed).
• Usage metadata: request volume, latency, status codes per product.
• Billing data: plan, payment method and invoices (processed by our payment provider).

On-device processing

Nosmai Effects and Nosmai Moderation run entirely on the user's device. Camera frames, images, video and text analyzed by these products are processed locally and never transmitted to Nosmai. We do not receive, store or have access to that content.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain and secure the services.
• To meter usage and bill your account.
• To send service notices and respond to support requests.
• To detect abuse and protect the platform.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with infrastructure and payment subprocessors that help us run the service, and when required by law.

Data retention

We retain account and usage metadata for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, scope access on a need-to-know basis, and keep provider secrets on the edge rather than in client apps. No system is perfectly secure, but security is a first-order design constraint for us.

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Nosmai platform, SDKs and dashboard. By creating an account or using the services, you agree to them.

The services

Nosmai provides SDKs and APIs for camera AR and AI, including Nosmai Effects and Nosmai Moderation, together with a developer dashboard. We may add, change or deprecate features over time, with reasonable notice for material changes.

Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret. Mobile apps should authenticate with an app ID rather than embedding secret keys. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the services to build anything unlawful, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or circumvent the platform. You are responsible for the content your application processes.

• No unlawful, harmful or deceptive applications.
• No attempts to bypass rate limits, quotas or security controls.
• No reselling the raw API as a competing service.

Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Intellectual property

Nosmai retains all rights to the platform, SDKs and documentation. You retain all rights to your application and your content. We grant you a limited, revocable licence to use the SDKs to build and operate your application.

Warranties and liability

The services are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nosmai is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the prior twelve months.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to comply with the law. On termination, your right to use the services ends and we will delete data in line with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the dashboard or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
